It’s suggested this block be made using white or white on white as the background fabric with your choice of color scrappy fabric for the bird. We’ll hold a drawing for the blocks at our May 21, 2019, General Meeting.
Elizabeth Hartman is a quilter, pattern designer, and fan of color from Portland, Oregon. She says that she’s been making things her whole life, but when she made her first quilt in 1999, she was hooked and has been making quilts ever since. For Elizabeth, quiltmaking is the perfect combination of creativity and technical challenge, all in the service of making a useful object.

It’s suggested this block be made using red and blue solid or print fabrics with white or white on white as the background fabric. We’ll hold a drawing for the blocks at our April 16, 2019, General Meeting.
TVQG’s March Program is Demo Night. We’ll feature several demonstration stations spaced throughout the meeting room. Small groups of quilters will be invited to view individual demonstrations including fabric treatment, quilting methods, and quilting techniques. Each presentation will be about 15 to 20 minutes and our presenter’s are members of our own quilting community.
The March meeting will be on Tuesday, March 19th, starting at 7 pm at the King City Clubhouse, 15245 SW 116th Ave, King City, OR

TVQG’s Next Charity Quilter’s Sew Day will take place Monday, March 4th, starting at 10:00 am at the Sherwood Senior Center. Charity Sew Days are open to all with no participation fee. TVQG’s next Quilts of Valor Sew Day will take place on Saturday, March 2nd, starting at 10:30am at Ace Sewing and Vacuum in Newberg. We would enjoy having you join us.

TVQG Next Open Sew Day will take place at the King City Clubhouse on Saturday, February 23rd at starting 9:30am. For lunch during this Sit and Sew Day, we’re planning a Soup and Salad Potluck.
